Research!

This is sample work from my first graders researching and documenting details through the use of the app Explain Everything.  The reason we use this app over others, such as ScreenChomp or Educreations, is its drop down menu of export options.  The students can quickly and easily send documents to me in the form of a PDF.

I am pretty sure I did this type of work in fifth and sixth grade.  My first graders continue to amaze me with their skills!

They have researched, highlighted and recorded details from two different texts on the same topic.  Next week they will be completing an electronic venn diagram that compares and contrasts the information found in the two different texts.
